Craig Markham Won the Gold with Ontario's National Baseball Team

As a teenager, Craig Markham was very involved in competitive sports. He played hockey and baseball, as well as participating in judo tournaments. It was through baseball, however, where he really excelled in his youth. In 1993, Markham was a member of the Ontario National Baseball team. During this year, he and the team competed in the Canadian Nationals in Prince Edward Island Canada, where they were the winners of the gold medal. His baseball performance was widely recognized around Canada and the United States. He was scouted by recruiters from the University of California Golden Bears, and was offered a scholarship to the school. Markham did not accept the scholarship, as he wanted to pursue other career paths, but it was still an honor to receive the offer.

Canada has a long history of loving baseball, and the sport is one of the country's most popular ones. There were at one time two Major Baseball League teams in the country, but the Montreal Expos moved to Washington D.C. in 2005, leaving just the Toronto Blue Jays. In addition to the major league, there is also a long history of Minor League Baseball team affiliation. Currently, the Vancouver Canadians are the minor league team in operation. Ontario is home to the Intercounty Baseball League, a semiprofessional league with many teams of its own. Baseball is a sport that Craig Markham will play and watch for entertainment for the rest of his life.

Craig Markham Enjoys the Latest Fashion Trends

Proving that a manly man can still retain a sense of fashion, Craig Markham follows the trends in men's fashion. Just as with women's fashion and design, each year brings forth a new set of styles that are considered en vogue. At the same time, there are styles that are deemed classic, and never go out of fashion, no matter how much time passes. Through his research this year, he has discovered what to wear and what to avoid while keeping up with his social calendar. Both color, and the absence of color, are great options for menswear right now. For example, the last few years have given way to a host of designers creating men’s clothing using pastel palettes as their inspiration. Other famous and influential designers are shying away from pastels, and instead using bright and bold prints to highlight their designer pieces. These prints can be found on everything from shirts and shorts to sweaters and slacks. As a contrast, others are focused on a lack of color, relying on a white on white tonal look to set the mood of sophistication and modernity.

Moving away from color, style itself is demonstrating some interesting trends, including the resurgence of the bomber jacket. This piece, once made famous through its ties to the military, is a universal outerwear solution for days that are not too cold in Ontario. Regardless of the current fashion trends, Craig Markham makes an effort to look his best, professionally and socially.
